This position is located in the State office of Carson City, Nevada in USDA/Rural Development (RD).
The incumbent provides a wide range of substantive and technical assistance and support to the top management and staff of the organization.
This position is neither remote nor virtual.
The employee will be expected to report in person to the assigned duty location.
Duties
Prepare periodic statistical reports based on available records.
Convert data between software applications and from substantive application applicable to office functions.
Review administrative regulations, procedures and policy directives to determine applicability to the office/division.
Prepare written correspondence, narrative reports, and related materials.
Design and implement administrative procedures for maintaining electronic and hard copy files, records, reports, etc.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates experience using a using wide range of office automation applications to prepare and revise a wide range of complex documents, including spreadsheets, presentations, briefings, correspondence, track projects, and maintain databases. Experience reviewing administrative regulations, procedures, and policy directives to determine applicability to the office and/or division. Experience tracking travel expenditures to ensure costs do not exceed available funds, prepare, and/or assist in the preparation of claims or vouchers. There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-7 grade level.
