This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), Consumer Support Group (CSG), Division of Consumer Advocacy and Assister Support (DCAAS). As a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-12, you will apply qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze and evaluate administrative operations and health care programs.

Duties

Advises managers and program officials on management or program related policies and procedures. Prepares reports and briefs results and recommendations to management. Applies qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of a health care program. Analyzes and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of a health care program.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
