This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Manages Facility Engineering Work Requests from inception to completion.
Duties
Prepare results of facility inspections to include analysis of facility repair requirements.
Utilize various databases to manage and collect data, perform analysis, compile information and/or generate reports.

Conduct on-site surveys of installation facilities for investigative studies of the projects.
Process staffed work orders for approval.
Requirements

Specialized Experience for GS-09:
One year of specialized experience which includes verifying performance requirements of contracts in accordance with the contract terms, conditions, and specifications; providing customer service support for assigned customer organizations; and experience conducting contract site visits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Or
One year of specialized experience which includes completing cost estimates; determining methods of accomplishment for construction, maintenance and repair work; and assessing facility conditions and conditions of major infrastructure systems such as electrical, water, sewer, HVAC, paving and roofing. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).
