You will serve as a EDUCATIONAL TECHNICIAN in the Naval Medical Center, San Diego of NMRTC SAN DIEGO CA.

Duties
You will provide para-professional education information.
You will accept, screen and ensure timely processing of Tuition Assistance (TA).
You will provide administrative and clerical support to SEAT (Staff Education and Training).
You will manage SEAT (Staff Education and Training) classroom scheduling on SharePoint.
You will adhere to instruction/directives (verbal/written) provided through the established chain of command.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
FOR THE GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Assisting clients in acquiring appropriate documents, registering employees for classes, answering phone calls and handling front desk encounters professionally;
Providing client-centered customer service being highly responsive to requests of information and services from clients;
Listening to concerns of customers to resolve complaints/concerns and to improve quality of services, products, and processes; AND
Providing administrative and clerical support to staff education and training department (SETD), including maintaining of paper and electronic files, course materials, and departmental classroom reservation schedule.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided
it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position:
Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
