This ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR position, is located at an Army Aviation Support Facility and is part of the CA AASF Stockton.
Duties
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, TEMPORARY PROMOTION POSITION
Selectee may be non-competitively promoted permanently if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered.
Selectee may be non-competitively extended up to 5 years if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered.
The primary purpose of the ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-2610-12, is to supervise workers, either directly or through one or more subordinate leaders and/or supervisors, in accomplishing the operations of a distinct organizational unit and to perform associated nonsupervisory work. This is an Army National Guard (ARNG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification. The occupation and nonsupervisory grade level which best reflects the nature of the overall work operations supervised is Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12.
Qualifications
General Experience: Must possess experience in duties such as, install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes
ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-2610-12: Must have at least 36 months of specialized working experiences in performing, training and/or supervising assigned integrated systems repair and maintenance work operations; Experience in the maintenance, repair, and modification of integrated multi-complex avionics systems; Experience planning tasks for subordinate workers and expanded knowledge in using the equipment, facilities and materials; Experience meeting deadlines, in using time management to satisfy priorities and work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors; Experience ensuring compliance with wearing the appropriate safety equipment and following pertinent safety precautions; Experience dealing with accident/mishap responses, shift supervision, special project management, heavy equipment operations, maintenance of facilities and equipment, or responding to natural disasters or civil emergencies
