You will serve as a PURCHASING AGENT in the ???????MARINE CORP RECRUITMENT COMMAND of 6TH MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will collect data to determine price reasonableness.
You will determine the best offer through review and comparison of different term.
You will coordinate the location area purchase card program.
You will monitor purchases and reconciles credit card billing statements.
You will make purchases of supplies and services.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or Secret final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of standardized supply regulations; Tracks and analyzes supply usage; Knowledge of supply systems and automated data processing systems; Knowledge of commonly applied supply principles, finance and budgeting, concepts and methodologies; Ability to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operations; Knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS) system, process, procedures, and regulations; Knowledge of the Unit Travel Card (UTC) system, processes, procedures, and regulations. Knowledge of the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) processes, procedures, and regulations; Ability to prepare and deliver public presentations and provide informal training; Skill in oral and written procedures. Skill in using computer software, particularly Adobe Pro, and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, PowerPoint, Project, and Access.
