This position is located in the Integrated Services and Solutions Branch (ISSB), Office of Workplace Solutions (OWS), Office of Science Management and Operations (OSMO), Office of the Director (OD), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Duties
If selected for this position, your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the design and conduct of analytical studies, cost-benefit analyses, and other research to evaluate existing approaches and enhance the quality and effectiveness of conference management.
Analyze and advise on the implications of proposed, new, or revised practices in the field of events management and assesses their impact on program accomplishment.
Develop new approaches to resolve complex productivity problems and issues.
Recommend methods for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of service-related projects, programs, systems, and procedures through process modification and the application of evolving technology.
Serve in a leadership role for numerous highly visible outreach and communications initiatives, and manage the development, coordination, and execution of large, high-profile conferences, meetings, and public presentations that have a direct impact on the biomedical research and health care industries.
Develop ISSB's annual contract operations plan and provides periodic status and evaluation of the contracting activities to senior management.
Serve as a project officer on support contracts.
Provide oversight to assigned contracts, with responsibility for providing leadership to subordinate staff in identifying needs for contract service providers and securing such services.
Serve as an active member of the OWS management team in addition to serving as a leader and manager for ISSB.

Qualifications
To qualify for the Supervisory Program Analyst position at the GS-14 level, you must meet the following qualification requirements:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1) managing workplace solutions programs to support organizational programs and operations; 2) utilizing advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques to analyze and measure the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of workforce solutions programs; 3) managing contracts for the delivery of workforce solutions programs and services; and 4) working on short- and long range planning and development of new workforce solutions programs to meet organizational goals.
