You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AVIATION SUPPORT DEPARTMENT (ASD) of STRIKE FIGHTER WING PACIFIC STAFF.
Duties
You will direct personnel, supply management, and budget administrative services that support and directly affect operations
You will provide administrative guidance and advice by reassigning personnel to compensate for changing workload.
You will determine whether contractor performed work meets standards of adequacy necessary for authorization of payment.
You will approve within-grade increases, travel and recommend awards or bonuses for nonsupervisory personnel
You will make decisions on nonroutine, costly training needs, training requests related to Stock Control, System Analyst, and Financial Management.
You will conduct studies, which include review of mission and organizational structure, reporting requirements, procedures, as well as personnel, morale, facilities and space requirements.
You will develop training programs and conduct necessary training for the Stock Requirements Branch personnel on aviation supply operations and procedures.
You will maintain the Point of Entry (POE) and Net Effectiveness for all items stocked and the management of rotatable and critical pool items.
You will provide guidance to subordinate commands regarding the completion of reports, reviewing, collecting and analyzing report findings.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position requires that the selectee submit to a background investigation to verify suitability for employment.
Qualifications
GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and coordinating logistic support operations (e.g. organizational structure, reporting requirements, procedures, personnel, facilities, or space requirements) by analyzing personnel, supply management, and budget services to develop recommendations to alleviate material problems for logistics operations.
