This HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) is located in the personnel and administrative (G1) Section of the Division Command and is part of the CA HHC 40th ID INF DIV.

Duties

THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-11, is to oversee and ensure the accomplishment of work performed in the areas of personnel management, administration, and public relations. Supervisory duties are performed less than 25 percent of the work year.

HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Serves as the primary advisor for the command in the areas of personnel, legal, and medical operations; Coordinates and assists in developing plans for recruiting and retention within the command; and develops and implements tactical standing operating procedures for personnel and medical operations. Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work required
