Duties

As a Management Analyst, you will: Work closely with management and technical experts to identify contract requirements, develop statement of work, prepare procurement plan, monitor status of procurement request and perform periodic reviews of HOC GTR files. Prepare oral and written reports and presentations; prepare graphs; and charts that present clearly, concisely and effectively analytical results of evaluations and studies performed; provide staff support for formal presentations. Develop, manage and write computer programs for various Homeownership Center tracking systems. May serve as a team member or project leader in developing studies, requirements for automated systems, surveys, reviews and have full responsibility for interactions between managers and offices. Prepare and identify various trend analyses situations, ratios and deviations, etc., as a result of the various analyses conducted for managers and supervisors.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Planning, leading, monitoring, and reporting on special projects; AND - Conducting studies or reviews relevant to organizational goals and objectives; AND - Reporting findings and making written recommendations that are adopted by management; AND - Developing and implementing procedures or systems for establishing operations or assessing the effectiveness of administrative controls that are designed to prevent waste, loss, misuse or misappropriation of assets or funds. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
