You will serve as a PROCUREMENT TECHNICIAN in the JEACO DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will assist senior specialists in the preparation of contract awards and orders. You will execute contract actions and related work products required for the acquisition of goods and services. You will enter and authenticate data in various required automated data systems such as the NAVAIR Obligation Database.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• Generally, current federal employees applying for STRL jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower pay band. This requirement is called time-in-band. Time-in-band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate related duties to the following: 1) Preparing contract awards and related work products; 2) Entering and authenticating data in various data systems; 3) Supporting senior specialists in the contract close out process.
