About the Position: Serve as the primary administrative and clerical support for the Branch. Actively participates in the management of the Branch office by performing routine administrative and miscellaneous clerical work. The District is located near downtown Jacksonville with easy access to a major interstate highway, flexi-time work schedule with credit hour option, workspace cubicles in a corporate business setting. Duties

Receive all calls and visitors and directs to appropriate staff members only those contacts needing their attention or action. Compose correspondence on administrative support or clerical functions of the office. Prepare travel requests, make arrangements, and relay information to supervisor while s/he is in travel status. Responsible for Property management, cross referencing Branch office equipment/property with bar codes that Logistics has on file.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing general administrative duties such as: maintaining multiple conference room calendars, directing incoming calls/mail, accumulating information, maintaining files, preparing letters and memorandums, and answering questions; and holding fiscal responsibilities such as: preparing time cards and labor, and preparing travel orders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05) OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
