About the position: This position will be assigned to the Out Door Recreation Facility on Tyndall AFB.
Duties
Police area around buildings, docks, parks and other ODR areas.
Mow grass, edge walkways, trim grass from around area.
Construct, alter, repair wooden substitute items and make modifications and improvements to indoor and outdoor facilities.
Maintains manual and power grounds keeping and other equipment tools by cleaning/replacing filters, spark plugs and other required maintenance, etc.
Unclogs sinks, commodes and urinals.
Operates vehicles up to 1.5 tons to perform assigned duties.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:
Applicant must have increasingly responsible experience in the following: (1) The use of hand tools and small machinery. (2) Minor facility repair and grounds maintenance. (3) Experience must show the applicant has general experience in warehousing techniques, experience in operating a motor vehicle and familiarity with plumbing repairs.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
