Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor located in Boston National Historical Park, in the Facilities and Sustainability Program Division. This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-time appointment.
Duties
Responds to a wide range of building and utility related failures, oftentimes with minimal notice, and repairs or delegates repair responsibilities to subordinate staff.
Determine the cause of and repair solution to all manners of mechanical or utility system failures and effectively implement repair solutions.
Develop and review work plans for corrective and preventative maintenance to efficiently manage the repairs of multiple building systems through staff and contract labor.
Lead and supervise an effective multi-trade team to respond to the changing needs and directives of a complex metropolitian maintenance organization.
Determine the cause of and repair solution to all manners of building or building component failures and effectively implement repair solutions.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
The Ability to Lead or Supervise(SCREEN OUT)
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.
Use of Measuring Instruments
Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, ect. (including blueprint reading)
