About the Position: The incumbent serves as Property Administrator overseeing a Government Contractor operated facility

Duties

Serves as Property Administrator for a Government Owned-Contractor Operated facility. Oversees the contractor property management systems and conducts of contract oversight and surveillance of the operating contractor. Reviews and analyzes contract document and Statements of Work (SOW) and conducts a Property Management System analysis of contractor property control systems. Responsible for general supply and transportation support and performs program management fo installation equipment including preventive maintenance audits. Provides assistance for interpretation and guidance concerning regulations, procedures, and policies for organizational compliance.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Plan and implement the total property management system; 2) Identify risk to the organization through surveillance evaluation; 3) Provide advice to contractors to resolve problems; and 4) Prepare reports of findings from investigations to higher management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
