You will serve as an Educational Technician (OA) in the U.S. Naval Academy, Office of Admissions of NAVAL ACADEMY.
GS-07 Pay = $55,924 to $72,703
GS-09 Pay= $68,405 to $88,926
Duties
You will manage a wide range of administrative tasks to include processing application documents, preparing and reviewing applications, and serving as Secretary on the Admissions Board.
You will receive inquiries and uses knowledge of the various Admissions programs to respond to a high volume of daily emails and phone calls from candidates, parents, school officials, and other stakeholders on various related topics and issues.
You will serve as the administrative expert in the Candidate Guidance Department on Department of Navy (DON) Correspondence procedures and manages departmental administrative tasks.
You will establish and maintain complete and appropriate file systems and implement tickler tracking system ensuring timely responses to correspondence and reports.
You will be responsible for developing complete familiarity with the Salesforce software, Excel, Google Business Applications, and Microsoft Word so that you can provide support to stakeholders.

Qualifications
For GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Knowledge of school admission processes to advise on program polices and requirements; 2) Processing travel request in accordance with federal regulations; 3) Develop strong relationships with teachers, counselors, coaches, college industry, and other sources of validated information on collegiate candidates in order to complete records prior to review by the Admissions board and 5) Demonstrating ability to accurately and efficiently manage a database and create and manage correspondence or other forms of records.
For GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processing high volumes of inquiries on topics and issues surrounding the Office of Admissions procedures. 2) Coordinating travel for and utilizing time and attendance systems to process timekeeping requirements according to policies and procedures. 3) Maintaining accurate and complete data for stakeholders. B. I have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work:
For the GS-09:
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Completed two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
