The position is within the FAA, Aviation Safety (AVS), Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM), Regional Aerospace Medicine Division. The Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) develops and manages medical programs in support of Aviation Safety.
Duties
This position is the Program Analyst for one or more of the following regional programs and activities in assigned Regional Aerospace Medicine Division: Airman Medical Certification, Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) Health, Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) Designee Management, Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) Surveillance and Internal Substance Abuse (ISAP). NOTE: Specific programs assigned depend on regional location.

At least one (1) year of experience must be equivalent to the FG/GS-4 level work in the administrative, professional, technical, investigative or comparable work area.OREducation Substitution: Successful completion of a full 4 year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university.ORCombination education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
