About the Position: Serves as Project Scheduler and Resident Management System (RMS) District Administrator for the Construction Division, supporting Area and Resident Engineer Field Offices for all District projects. Selectee will also be responsible for training Government and Contractor personnel on RMS procedures, processes, and updates.

Duties

Attend Pre-work meetings and scheduling kickoff meetings with Construction Division, Program, and Contractor Personnel to discuss the contract schedule requirements. Assist Area Engineers, Resident Engineers, Office Engineers and Project Engineers in creating multiple project schedules, as necessary, Implement the full application of the scheduling systems and software such as PRIMAVERA P6, Microsoft Project and Resident Management System (RMS) scheduling modules. Register projects and project data in the District’s specific P3 and P6 library. Create and maintains District specific reference data. Responsible for training Government staff and Contractor personnel. Evaluate HUSACE policies in connection with project definitions and milestones/schedules. Responsible for P6 database management for resources, programming, and execution of all District projects. Design, maintains, updates, analyzes and monitors database integrity for all employees who utilize the District’s P6 systems.

Maintain knowledge of Resident Management System (RMS) updates, communicating software updates with Mobile District RMS users, 4.) and providing RMS training for Government and Contractor personnel as needed. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
