As a PBS Program Specialist, you will serve as a Repair and Alterations Program Specialist providing a wide range of programmatic expertise and guidance on the accomplishment of capital improvements and other major renovations impacting facilities under the Region's jurisdiction. Location of position: GSA, Public Buildings Service (PBS), Portfolio Management and Customer Engagement Division, in Region 8. We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

As a PBS Program Specialist, your duties will include:

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
  • Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
  • Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
  • Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

Qualifications

For each job on your resume, provide: the exact dates you held  each job (from month/year to month/year) number of hours per week you worked (if part time).     If you have volunteered your service through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps), we encourage you to apply and include this experience on your resume.For a brief video on creating a Federal resume, click here.  The GS-13 salary range starts at $103,409 per year and varies by location.  To qualify at the GS-13: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience independently performing asset business planning and financial analysis for a portfolio of multi-level commercial buildings and office complexes. This experience must include asset performance analysis; recommending and evaluating repair and alternation projects and building programs; analyzing financial performance and investment alternatives; and participating on and/or leading an asset planning team.
