You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST In the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEER COMMAND REAL ESTATE DIRECTORATE of DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY.
Duties
You will establish a system to monitor real estate files or data to maintain data integrity.
You will respond to inquiries concerning technical real estate matters, public laws, leasing practices, or acquisition.
You will develop new real estate approaches or apply new standards to solve real estate problems or transactions.

Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-13 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting Department of Defense, Command's and Regional regulations, policies pertaining to all real estate matters and methodologies to effect good business decisions and successful project execution; 2) Serving as the customer / Installation point of contact/leader in providing technical recommendations/solutions to complex problems, and anticipating obstacles to achieve a timely and positive outcome; 3) Serving as the project manager for matters Installation point of contact for all matters related to Real Estate acquisition, management and disposal. Property Inventory Requirements Model and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness to effectively implement Class I (Land) and Class II (Buildings, Structures and Utilities) real estate in accordance to its policies; 4) Performing technical analysis of real estate at the Echelon III headquarters level to fulfill request for information or other inquiries; and 5) Mentoring and training junior Overseeing assignment of work made to team members, monitors technical progress, and completion of established milestones.
