As a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Any Information Technology/Security certifications / education specified in the DCWF Annex as defined by DoD 8140-M within six months of appointment date.

You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS-GG 13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience in agile IT project management, software development and/or solution delivery; excellent organizational, task management and communication skills. Developing, implementing, and improving IT and organizational delivery processes. Experience with IT contracts, to include developing/scoping technical IT requirements and costing. IT strategy and planning, tracking execution to plans. Possesses a cross-functional skill-set in IT management: planning, requirements, budgeting, procurement, execution, test and validation, training, close-out. Program Management - Designs, implements, and manages multiple or ongoing programs/projects and directs the related resources, personnel, and activities.
