About the Position: The position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. Public transportation and free parking is available. Position may be filled as a temporary appointment NTE 1-YEAR, if the candidate is not a current Army employee. Temporary appointments may be extended up to a maximum of three years.

Duties

Incumbent functions under the general supervision of the Company First Sergeant (1SG). Serves as principal administrator responsible to the company commander of a company. Processes trainee and permanent party actions in accordance with regulations, policies and guidelines. Processes actions in accordance with regulations, policies, and guidelines and individual performance counseling. Operates Microsoft Office products to include but not limited to: Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Exercises independent judgment when fulfilling requirements utilizing the most efficient and correct method. Advises the company commander in the event that external agency deadlines cannot be met and clearly defines shortfalls.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Requires working irregular hours and weekends to include being on-call.
