About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, Alabama just off interstate 20. The depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Direct the audit of value stream segments to assure the prevention of detects in a wide variety of complex components and systems. Review recommendations of technicians for improvement to quality assurance programs based on statistical analysis of inspection and test methods. Serve as supervisor over a group of highly skilled technicians and specialist with responsibility for development and execution of the product assurance function. Establish quality plans for manufacturing to comply with customer requirement.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a data analytics level 1 certification requirement within 12 months of being placed on the position.
  • Maybe subject to one-year Supervisory probationary period.
