This position is located in the 136th Airlift Wing in Fort Worth, TX. The purpose of this position is to accomplish budget formulation, trend analyses, and execution evaluation of federal funds provided by the ANG and other Department of Defense (DoD) components to the assigned unit. Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax.

To be considered for qualification, your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment/experience reflecting the following: Specialized Experience Required: To qualify at the GS-11 grade level your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment/experience reflecting at least 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level (GS-09) experience, education, or training of finance budget competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures. AND Candidate must have an excellent understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements. AND A candidate must have experiences and training that demonstrates the abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies, and procedures. or A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. If using education to meet minimum qualifications you MUST upload a copy of your transcripts. To qualify, the applicant must have a completed undergraduate or graduate education, the college degree education must be in one of, or be a combination of the following required disciplines: accounting, business, finance, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management. or A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and experience that may be used to meet total qualification requirements. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9 and GS-11.
