You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Logistics Support Department of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center, Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA).

Duties

You will evaluate outfitting support functions to ensure proper support identification and readiness is provided to the Fleet. You will establish goals, designate responsibilities, and interpret impact on overarching programs associated with outfitting. You will support various small and large working groups to discuss and resolve supply support issues. You will develop and manage reports and metrics through MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to provide to NAVSEA stakeholders for decision making. You will provide logistics analysis of systems/equipment, ships, ships classes to assure proper logistics support is planned or in place utilizing various DoD systems. You will adhere to and promote proper allowancing, provisioning, and configuration standards through training, and/or policy development. You will manage all facets of High Value requisitions, Allowance Gatekeeper, Outfitting Metrics, or Allowance Equipage List provisioning efforts.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing logistics data, utilizing databases and online tools, to provide customer logistics support (e.g., allowances, provisioning, configuration) on all projects. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include researching logistics; providing administrative management and supply support; using Microsoft applications; reviewing and performing actions on logistics data utilizing databases and multiple online tools; reconciling problems with external stakeholders; working with Senior Logisticians and other working groups; teaching supply support concepts and performing quality assurance.
