Duties
You will manage sustainment activities to keep facilities in good working order by establishing scheduled maintenance and repairs, developing plans for major repairs or replacement of components.
You will identify, classify, prioritize, and estimate maintenance and repair work.
You will monitor work throughout the project life and ensure that records are maintained in the Single Platform Maximo software system.
You will prepare briefings covering methods used in the development, collection and preparation of statistical data along with providing advisory services to managers and supervisors concerning findings.
You will evaluate the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program and recommend program revisions.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
Qualifications
For Non-Federal applicants: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of facility repair, maintenance and services to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, correct problems and evaluate contractor performance of these facility functions; 2) Interpreting and analyzing scopes of work, drawings and specifications to provide advice regarding facility repair, maintenance or services; 3) Reviewing technical data to understand system operations; 4) Reviewing contract drawings for conformance to Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) standards; 5) Developing graphs, charts, and other visual presentation aids covering program performance, fund utilization, and budgetary requirements.
For current Federal applicants: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of facility repair, maintenance and services to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, correct problems and evaluate contractor performance of these facility functions; 2) Interpreting and analyzing scopes of work, drawings and specifications to provide advice regarding facility repair, maintenance or services; 3) Reviewing technical data to understand system operations.
