Duties
Under the supervision of the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Clinical Manager, plans, coordinates, and implements the overall USMC EFMP case management program by screening and reviewing enrollments and updates to Forms DD-2792, DD-2792-1, and all supporting medical, mental health, and educational reports for the purpose of non-clinical case management, program enrollment and assignment coordination using the most recent version of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) as required. Identifies incomplete medical or educational information and coordinates with Army, Navy and Air Force Medical Departments, Installation EFMP Program Manager and/or Marine Sponsors and family members to obtain all required information. Determines status and eligibility of members enrolled, dis-enrolled or not appropriate for enrollment in the EFMP.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred) in Nursing from a professional nursing program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), at the time the program was completed. Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse required with at least three years of direct patient care experience and professional knowledge of a wide range of medical concepts, principles, and practices. Experience in the evaluation and support of EFMs with conditions requiring special medical attention. Knowledge of and skill to provide subject matter expertise to EFMP Assignment Case Management staff on the medical implications of cases related to continued active-duty assignment, reassignment, and relocation ensuring that the continuum of care is maintained according to the needs of the EFM. Knowledge of or direct experience with military lifestyle. Telework: Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MF policy.
