Duties

You will assist the Production/Support Supervisor by planning, evaluating, analyzing and providing technical surveillance over complex manufacturing and industrial operations in relation to Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE).

Requirements

Qualifications

FOR GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, evaluating analyzing, and providing technical surveillance over complex manufacturing and industrial operations requited in the prototyping, production, assembly, disassembly, overhaul, repair installation and test of Aircraft launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE); and 2) Familiarity with projects and track records, as well as the repair, overhaul, and modification of ALRE equipment (including organization, facilities, equipment, materials, manufacturing processes and cost estimating principles) and procedures, as they pertain to prototyping, production, repair, overhaul and test of ALRE systems and components. FOR GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, evaluating analyzing, and providing technical surveillance over complex manufacturing and industrial operations requited in the prototyping, production, assembly, disassembly, overhaul, repair installation and test of Aircraft launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE); and 2) Comprehensive knowledge with projects and track records, as well as the repair, overhaul, and modification of ALRE equipment (including organization, facilities, equipment, materials, manufacturing processes and cost estimating principles) and procedures, as they pertain to prototyping, production, repair, overhaul and test of ALRE systems and components; 3) Working knowledge of related disciplines such as contracting and acquisition, logistics, supply management, materials receipt/storage, and transportation of materials; 4) Working knowledge of industrial directives, instructions, notices, specifications and standards which relate to system acquisition, production management, data/configuration management, and engineering drawings. Education

The following education may be substituted for specialized experience:

FOR GS-11:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. Your major study was in business administration, industrial management, engineering, applied sciences, or other fields directly related to the position;
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Your major study was in business administration, industrial management, engineering, applied sciences, or other fields directly related to the position;

Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is directly related to the position being filled.
