Serves as an Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Specialist responsible for leading a range of duties aimed at ensuring safe and healthy working conditions. This position is in the Flight Program Operations SMS Group.
Duties
This position performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist.

- Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
- One year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications
To qualify for this FV-J (FG/GS-14) position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I (FG/GS-13) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes experience with OSH workplace inspections and development of abatement plans; experience in developing and managing EOSH teams, programs and projects and conducting audits; experience in identifying safety hazards and recommending measures to address them.ALSOQUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF):Well-qualified applicants must possess and document experience developing and managing EOSH programs that comply with local, state, and/or federal requirements.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
