Duties

Serve as supervisor over the Blocker and Bracer Operation Works exercising full supervisory responsibility over work operations in planning distribution, prescribing deadlines and day-to-day operations. Explain all work requirements, methods, procedures, specific hazards and safety precaution to all personnel. Ensure all personnel, materials and equipment required for operations are at designated work site. Review work in progress and upon completion. Perform performance management including but not limited to setting performance standards, scheduling and approving leave, counseling employees and position management.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening and random testing.
• This position requires an Arms, Ammunition and Explosives Security Certification/Screening in accordance AR 190-11.
• This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban /Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition.
• This position requires occasional Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 10% of the time.
