You will serve as a Maintenance Worker of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

You will perform minor construction and repair on existing structures involving standard measurements, specifications, instructions, and basic shop mathematics. You will locate and make repairs to plumbing and disposal systems, such as dirty traps, sections pipe, and leaky drains. You will prepare surfaces, mixes and prepares coating material, and applies coating materials. You will utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
