THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS), UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG), DEPUTY COMMANDANT FOR MISSION SUPPORT, ASSISTANT COMMANDANT FOR ACQUISITION (CG-9), DIRECTOR OF ACQUISITION PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CG-93), PROJECT MANAGER OPC (CG-9322) Washington, DC.
Duties
You will also serve as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) / Government Furnished Information (GFI) Manager and be responsible for the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of GFE systems with US Navy program offices to ensure that GFE and GFI are delivered to contractor facilities in time to support ship construction schedules. In this position, you will also interface directly with Coast Guard (CG) subject matter technical experts, configuration managers, logisticians, as well government and contractor property managers at multiple contractor facilities.

Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-13: Applicants must possess specialized experience equivalent to 1 year of experience at the next lowest grade level (GS-12) that is similar to experience gained in the federal sector. Examples of specialized experience includes: applying acquisition policies and processes for acquisition programs; utilizing qualitative/quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of program effectiveness; conducting management studies/reviews; working with integrated teams to support projects; monitoring budget allocation and execution; performing in-depth analyses of budget requests.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
