The selectee for this position will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the FM SYSTEMS DIVISION (N84), COMMANDER NAVY RESERVE FORCE, DCOS for Financial Management (N8), of COMNAVRESFOR.
Duties
You will be responsible for performing or advising on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
You will be responsible for performing a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities.
You will be responsible for implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience providing expertise concerning accounting interface to multiple business and reporting systems.
Experience providing direction and guidance in developing, implementing and sustaining various Financial Management (FM) systems and system changes (e.g., Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Experience participating in working groups related to migration to ERP and sustainment of the system.
Experience performing budgetary, administrative and statistical functions to support budget formulation.
Experience monitoring execution of budget programs including identifying deviations from the budget plans, analyzing causes and formulating proposing solutions.
Experience using extensive knowledge of personnel, manpower and financial systems used in management of appropriations.
Experience working with Navy Reserve systems (NROWS/DTS/RIMS (FM)DJMS, etc.).
