About the Position: This position serves as a Public Affairs Specialist located at Pine Bluff AR the subordinate installation of JMC.
Duties
Maintain effective working relationships with representatives of government, members of Congress, civic organizations, and other agencies.
Develop appropriate recommendations for the Commander's consideration by evaluating complex data
Implement effective internal information programs utilizing digital communication platforms.
Spokesperson for the installation for all inquiries emanating from the general public, news media and congressional representatives regarding the installation’s position on a wide range of routine, sensitive, or critical issues and/or situations.
Implement communication plans to inform affected public s of ongoing initiatives and installation activities
Prepare and review information material for dissemination to various public's for security, propriety, and conformance to Army policy.
Conduct the public affairs program for Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA).
Provide guidance and assistance to the public affairs specialist in difficult phases and reviews for adequacy and compliance with public information policies.
Requirements

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Conducting a command information program directed to military and civilian employees. 2. Arranging the preparation and dissemination of information concerning personnel and activities. and 3. Writing a variety of articles and speeches conveying information and clarifying an installation's operations, programs and activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
