You will serve as a Production Controller (Aircraft) in the Industrial Operations Production Management Department, Production Activity Control Division of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will be responsible for executing daily detailed work order releases or dispatch list requirements for the cognizant work centers. You will verify all workload within cognizant work center for completeness of paperwork prior to routing. You will keep in touch with the status and progress of work, and make day-to-day adjustments in accordance with established procedures, obtaining assistance from the supervisor on problems that may arise. You will resolve shortfalls, i.e. material not ordered upon initial inspection, material shorted in kits, material deficient from vendor, etc. within the work centers for the applicable production area. You will coordinate in conjunction with the Hub Scheduler the availability of technical data, tools, and the actual receipt of work units to the work center. You will initiate appropriate action to identify proper work center information whenever corrective action is required within the cognizant Process Engineering.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Utilizing depot maintenance systems to initiate workload status and accountability transactions; and to successfully manage work center and support production plans; 2) Ordering and monitoring material requisitions, ensuring resources are available to support repair operations, adjusted schedules, and capacity requirements; 3) Monitoring work in progress to track status, resolve shortfalls and to ensure workload is equitable among team; and 4) Compiling production work data to analyze production operations to determine if schedules are being followed, if they can be improved, and to determine the cause of production delays.
