About the Position: As the area office senior construction representative, the incumbent is responsible for assigned function of surveillance of contract operations of both HTRW mitigation and military construction projects located within the assigned area. Primarily responsible for surveillance, monitoring and controlling major military projects to include conventional buildings of all types.

Duties

Maintains surveillance, on a day-to-day basis, over the full range of field engineering activities associated with specific phases of a major military construction project Performs as a quality assurance representative on projects which may include Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) remediation. Determine contractor's operations comply with wage and hour, equal employment opportunity and other labor laws and regulations Determine if contractor is properly recording work accomplished and materials used

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must submit a Financial Statement (OGE-450)
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 40% of the time.
