About the Position: Serves as a Supply Technician for the Garrison Project Office serving as the primary Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder and providing clerical support.
Duties
Responsible for maintaining credit card holder responsibilities to purchase supplies, materials and equipment required for the operation and maintenance of a multipurpose project according to all procurement rules and regulations.
Ensure purchases are within the limits delegated and in compliance with all regulatory guidance, policy and law.
Maintain office supplies as requested by other project office staff.
Purchase a wide variety of replacement supplies, materials, equipment, parts, repair services, testing services or on-site repairs for multipurpose projects.
Complete accounts payable and receiving documents.
Perform clerical duties such as correspondence, time and attendance data entry, and receives phone calls and visitors.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
- Will require access to the Secure Web Fingerprint Transaction (SWIFT) database/system and is responsible for obtaining and submitting employees’ fingerprints via the SWIFT.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in at least 2 of the following areas: 1) performing credit card purchases for an office; 2) working with automated supply databases; OR 3) performing inventory/property control for an office. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).OR
Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
