Duties

You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Department of Navy Office of Force Resiliency (DON OFR), Assistant Secretary of the Navy Manpower and Reserve Affairs office. You will implement DON OFR policies, promote multi-faceted, evidence-informed prevention program solutions across DON regions. You will identify opportunities and lead the creation of Department-level tolls and/or initiate pilots of evidence-informed programs to address identified trends/challenges. You will serve a subject matter expert for Integrated Prevention Workforce programs and exercised significant responsibility as a regional advisor. You will provide guidance and clarity on program evaluation and survey approvals to ensure consistency, policy adherence and proper approvals to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of prevention program evaluation efforts. You will organize and conduct independent assessments to identify issues interfering with readiness, effectiveness, compliance, and develop reports with detailed, comprehensive analysis and recommendations. You will supports a healthy culture to eliminate sexual assault, harassment, family violence, suicide, and other harmful actions by using a public health perspective and socio-ecological theoretical lens You will prepares reports, executive summaries and present to a variety of audiences, including senior military officers and senior executives, ensuring the information is tailored to the audience and the delivery of information is accurate. You will develops strategies for staffing and planning for hiring and professional development of employees.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license to facilitate travel to coordinate, collaborate with military and civilian leadership and staff within designated region.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience overseeing the implementation and execution of integrated prevention, sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic violence, suicide prevention and response programs and initiatives; Experience applying qualitative and quantitative methods and fact-finding techniques to collect and analyze data; and Experience assessing programs activities to identify issues and recommend solutions.
