Duties
In this position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals serving as the Supervisor and Portfolio Manager for Border Patrol and Air and Marine Program Management Office's Southeast Sector, where both the scope and effect of the facilities work have a CBP-wide impact. This position starts at a salary of $122,198.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $158,860.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
Overseeing a program segment that performs professional, technical, and/or administrative work;
Initiating and monitoring special studies to include analysis of workload, personnel utilization, administrative facilities, and organization operating requirements for the program segment;
Managing the development, assignment, and higher-level clearance of goals and objectives of subordinate organizational units or lower organizational levels;
Developing methods, internal controls, programs, and procedures to improve cost effectiveness, streamlining organizational structures, and assuring conformity with sound management principles;
Oversees the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of the activities of all facilities and infrastructure work.

You must:
Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and
Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 08/30/2024.

Residency: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by CBP. Individuals are required to have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates (as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.
