You will serve as a Supply Technician of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will coordinate and work closely with warehouse personnel to conduct record reconciliation location audits and replace missing or damaged barcode bin labels and resolve identification/physical material discrepancies.
You will provide technical support and resolve customer inquiries.
You will maintain and update written reports as required and submit to management for review.
You will monitor, research and correct exceptions in NALCOMIS and Navy ERP ensuring validity and synchronized databases.
You will review and research customer Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) submissions for validity, inventory, and completeness.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
You have one year of Supply Clerk specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following: 1) Applying a knowledge of standardized supply regulations, policies, procedures, or other instructions sufficient to perform or technical supply and or clerical support functions such as reviewing requisition submissions for supporting documentation and reference material in support of transaction processing; 2) Investigate and reconcile routine and recurring discrepancies relating to actions such as receipt control, stock control, and inventory adjustments; 3) Utilizing various automated systems such as NAVY ERP, NALCOMIS and Microsoft Excel to enter and maintain inventory data, run reports, update records, and process various documents; 4) Conducting primary research for required supply transaction information and support for reconstructing records; 5) Utilizing some judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate supply guidelines, references, and procedures for application and determining which of several established alternatives to use in processing and/or resolving discrepant inventory transactions.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
