About the Position: This position is in the Defense Health Network Atlantic office in the Defense Health Agency under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs.
Reports directly to the Director or Deputy Director, Defense Health Network Atlantic, is responsible for the management of business activities, critical support services, and coordination of communication between DHA HQ and the Network MTFs and assist in daily operation of Network Office.
Duties
Oversee and assure unity of the Directorates healthcare delivery operations, aligning functions and processes into a singular Network strategy.
Maintain a continuous program of review and analysis to assess the progress and effectiveness of the organization in relation to healthcare delivery objectives, schedules, and priorities.
Review work efforts within the healthcare delivery staff to ensure continued support to mission elements of the Directorate, as well as progress and timeliness of products.
Establish long range goals and objectives, translating objectives into specific projects.
Plan long range staffing and organization needs.
Manage organizational changes impacting healthcare delivery operations.
