You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Program Support Division of NSTC GREAT LAKES.

Duties

You will review purchase request to confirm appropriate purchases. You will purchase supplies using a government credit card. You will prepare requisitions and other documents to process supply transactions. You will enter supply transactions or data in an automated supply system. You will resolve problems, concerns, conflicts, or issues with the purchase or delivery of materials.

Requirements

• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using automated supply systems, databases, spreadsheets, etc., to enter or retrieve information; 2) Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods to maintain materials and supplies; 3) Tracking supply budget and reporting to verify available funding for the procurement of supplies; and 4) Practicing the execution of property management procedures and material control.
