About the Position: Announcement will be used to fill a Logistics Management Specialist, NH-0346-02, position. Selected applicant will be assigned to the Joint Project Manager for CBRN Protection (JPM CBRN P) located in Stafford, VA. The NH-02 pay band encompasses grades 05-11 under the General Schedule (GS) system
Duties
Performs logistics related planning, integration, coordination, analysis and evaluation required for the acquisition and fielding of DoD equipment.
Reviews and evaluates the logistics requirements of assigned systems or equipment and provides input on test reports and other key acquisition documents.
Prepares and processes documents and reports associated with the requisition, receipt, storage, inventory, shipment, disposition and status of supplies and equipment used by the organization.
Utilizes management tools and automated systems to assess the effectiveness of customer support provided and measure the overall effectiveness of the property accountability program.
Serves as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR), monitoring contractual performance for adherence to cost, schedule and performance requirements.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at the Foundational level in the Acquisition Career Field Life Cycle Logistics within months of entrance on duty.
- The duties of this position require submission of, on an annual basis, OGE 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.
- Business travel required up to 15% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the
duration of employment.
Qualifications
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Term Appointment NTE - Position will be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 Months. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of six years and may be made permanent without further competition at management's discretion.

General Experience: Must have three years of progressively responsible general work experience with one year of that experience equivalent to the NH-01 or GS-04 grade level, which includes: One year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) Applying basic principles, concepts, and practices of logistics management. 2) Gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information related to assigned projects. 3) Interpreting and applying regulations, policies, and procedures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01 or GS-04).

I have successfully completed a full four (4) year course of study leading to a Bachelor's Degree. (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.)

I have the general experience as described above, but less than three (3) years; and I have some collegiate education, but less than the required four (4) years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 36. Then, divide your semester hours of education by 120. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.). (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.)
