About the Position: The USACE Wilmington District include a Headquarters, five Regulatory Field Offices, five multi-purpose reservoirs, survey offices, a repair yard, shallow draft floating plant and Fort Bragg USASOC Resident Engineer Office. The Wilmington District encompasses North Carolina and south central Virginia. Our varied geography includes six river basins, mountains, 1,336 miles of Atlantic shoreline, and 308 miles of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway

Duties

Serve as the Administrative Officer for the Operations (OPS) Division, in addition to serving as Chief of the Management Support Branch. Principal advisor and consultant to the OPS Chief, Branch/Section Chiefs in the District, Managers at Lake Projects, Hydropower Managers and Vessel Masters. As Chief of the Management Support Branch, responsible for managing a workforce that includes Workforce Management Specialists, Program Analysts, Budget Analysts, and Administrative Support personnel. Provide administrative and technical support in the areas of personnel management; manpower; training; budget; program analysis; logistics/property management; record keeping/file management; and protocol for Operations Division.
