Duties

Component Mission The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI)'s Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center (CTIIC) serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) node for cyber intelligence integration across the IC enterprise. CTIIC is responsible for ensuring analytic integration of cyber intelligence across the IC (Analytic Integration Directorate), carrying out the ICD-900 mission management and policy support functions through the Office of the National Intelligence Manager (NIM) for Cyber, and through PPD-41, leading intelligence integration and support to respond to cyber incidents through the Unified Coordination Group. Are you a critical thinker with insatiable curiosity interested in exploring how technical information, national security issues, and global events converge to inform policy? Do you like cutting through the noise to clearly communicate key findings and tough concepts through writing and briefings? Want unique access to top policymakers, analytic counterparts across the Intelligence Community (IC), and leading cyber security companies? The ODNI's Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center (CTIIC) is looking for analysts to help grow our center and be a part of the new wave of government cyber intelligence. Dynamic, high-tempo, and cutting-edge, CTIIC is dedicated to informing national policy and decision makers of cyber intelligence issues through engagement across the public and private sectors and with partners and allies. Whether we are integrating IC collection and analysis on cyber intelligence issues; asking novel cyber threat questions; or providing accurate, timely, comprehensive support to the National Security Council; CTIIC is on the frontlines informing cyber policy, security, and operations. At CTIIC, we place diversity at the forefront of everything we do to ensure equity, inclusion, and accessibility for all. We rely on each employee's unique strengths, experiences, and creativity to carry out our mission. We empower all employees and offer opportunities for professional growth and cyber skill development. Major Duties and Responsibilities: As a cyber threat analyst, you will develop and produce insightful finished intelligence products that contextualize the cyber story within the larger national security picture in support of US policymakers and national security interests. You will engage on a diverse set of cyber issues, as requirements shift and focus areas change based on emerging cyber developments. Build comprehensive analytic understanding of significant cyber threats by independently identifying, researching, and assessing intelligence reporting. Aggregate reporting and supplement with context and analysis to inform the IC and the broader US Government of cyber issues and trends. Provide leadership and expert guidance to the planning, analysis, and application of a full range of methodological tools and approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex analytical issues and incorporate insights and findings into well-crafted, in-depth intelligence products. Perform proactive community outreach and collaboration by planning and engaging in internal and external information sharing, fostering working relationships with interagency partners, and communicating timely and relevant intelligence information. Research and produce intelligence products that incorporate all sources of information to set significant cyber threat reporting in the larger national security context and highlight US response actions. Lead, initiate, cultivate, and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, experts, IC members, and law enforcement agencies as appropriate and use these relationships to keep abreast of current developments, resolve problems, eliminate duplication, and share information of interest. Develop oral briefings and written reports for ODNI leadership and senior internal and external customers on cyber intelligence activities and/or threats. Continually developing analytic tradecraft, writing skills, and insights into cyber and technology issues as well as any pertinent national security concerns.
