This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA HC/HYBRID CLOUD BROKER OFFICE (HC4222).
Duties
The incumbent plans, develops, implements, integrates, and coordinates the Information Technology (IT) requirements for a variety of projects.
Performs activities to evaluate, define, design, coordinate, and performs need analysis of current cloud applications, architecture, infrastructures, plans, and policy to address current and new requirements.
Prepares and delivers briefings, reports, and recommendations to high-level personnel within DISA, and DOD components as required, ensuring effective communication and alignment of IT initiatives with organizational objectives.
Coordinates and collaborates with other IT specialists, cloud analysts, cybersecurity workforce, and other stakeholders to design and implement a user-driven secure access experience across platforms.
Attendance at meetings and conferences facilitates the exchange of information on IT system engineering, implementation, and sustainment.
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
To qualify for the GG-13 Hybrid Cloud Broker position, you must demonstrate high-level proficiency in IT orchestration with a broad understanding of various cloud computing technologies and commercial providers. Extensive experience in senior customer management roles is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills. You must be adept at evaluating business needs and practices to determine customer requirements, utilizing your expertise in operating systems, applications software, and IT policies to devise effective cloud computing solutions. This role involves providing comprehensive oversight of planning, designing, and implementing new and enhanced information systems, ensuring customer needs are met by collaborating with technical teams, subject matter experts, and customers to refine functional requirements and develop technical specifications.
