Duties

Takes orders placed by guest for alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages and food items from menus. Required to be fully familiar with all food items available and all beverage items available for guest consumption. Orders drinks from bartender and delivers to guest. Maintains sales record, collects cash or payment by credit card from guest. Clean, reset and arrange tables as required. Remove used glassware, china, and silverware to steward area for cleaning.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
• Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify) check
• One year probationary period may be required
• A physical examination may be required
• Must be willing to adhere to strict appearance policy
• If selected, a completed and signed copy of our job application (DA Form 3433) is required prior to entrance on duty.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15j.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours annual refresher training.
• Works primarily indoors in areas that usually have adequate light and ventilation. Danger of slipping on wet or polished floors.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level. Applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the servicing of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change. Be able to communicate effectively in English.

Education

Education is not required for this position and will not be utilized in determining minimum qualifications.
