Duties

Serves a Branch Chief, within the Military Personnel Division, oversees the completion of Military Personnel Actions Interprets often conflicting regulations, guidelines and policies from Department of the Army and multiple major commands regarding the overall goals Monitors automated IPPS-A system reports for status and accuracy of Officer and Enlisted Distribution and Utilization to assure accuracy Provides technical advice and guidance regarding a wide variety of military HR programs . Interprets a variety of separation policies, regulations, and precedents to provide authoritative guidance to Commanders, attorneys, and subordinate personnel related to difficult issues

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG)
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
