This position is located at the United States Mint in Philadelpha, PA as part of the Production Maintenance Division. As an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic, you will be installing, monitoring, troubleshooting, rebuilding, overhauling, modifying, aligning, and calibrating new and existing integrated electronic equipment, electrical systems including, indicating, and recording/control systems used on industrial coin production machinery, and robotic and other computer control systems.

Duties

As an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic, you will: Install, troubleshoot, bend conduit, modify, and refine complete electronic industrial control systems and equipment of various types that are new to the organization or that constitute major modifications to existing systems Serve as a lead worker on teams to install new equipment systems Perform routine and preventative maintenance on systems, parts, assemblies, or components that are of highly complex design, construction, and functionality Determine and perform testing protocols to assure proper function results from repairs Lay out and fabricate systems in prototype configurations
