Exercises full field supervisory responsibility for all maintenance operations and assigned day labor construction and contract projects.
Responsible for the accomplishment of a variety of maintenance projects that are being performed continuously throughout the park.
Makes assignments of personnel and equipment to projects as deemed necessary.
Duties
The Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor has immediate supervisory responsibility for all operational maintenance programs within the park (including budgeting, personnel aspects, safety, and training) relating to the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of the park's roads, grounds, trails, and automotive repair.
Advises and assures personnel are properly trained on technical matters concerning historic landscapes, equipment operation, road construction and repair, trail construction and repair, grounds maintenance, and equipment repair and maintenance to best meet the needs of public and employee health/life/safety/service and economy.
